Navarra Bizia - Red Wine
Description
We named our red wine from Navarre, “Bizia,” which means “intense.”
Bizia is a wine that combines character with aromatic finesse. Its red fruit and spice aromas are typical of the Navarra appellation. Like the majestic and powerful oak, its elegance and intensity make it a must-have to accompany red meats, game, poultry, and cheeses.
“Bizia,” from the Etxe Peio winery, is made of 70% Tempranillo grapes. It is the most widely cultivated grape in Spain and is particularly appreciated for its ability to produce wines with red fruit aromas and spicy notes. It generally yields wines that are well-structured, with good tannin content and interesting aging potential.
It remains low in acidity, which is why it is blended with Garnacha. Known as Grenache in France, it is a grape that adds richness and roundness to the wine. It is often used in blends for its ability to bring notes of sweet spices and cocoa. It also gives the wine a beautiful color.
